The hunt is on to replace Owen Coyle as Manager of Burnley as his move to Bolton moves ever closer. Ever since it was clear that Coyle was moving on the betting markets have been in somewhat of a frenzy as sports betting punters have been trying to work out who will be replacing Coyle.

The early money has been for Steve Coppell who had a decent spell at Reading and has been linked with various posts in recent months. The interesting contender for the Burnley job is Mike Phelan who is on the coaching staff of Man Utd and the money has really come for him in the last 24 hours.

All the other usual suspects are at the head of the betting including Paul Jewell who was the early favourite for the Bolton job and Alan Curbishley is another name that saw some interest early on, but money has dried up for him.
