Merry Go Round Continues in Next Burnley Manager Betting Odds

0

Nearly a week into the those at Turf Moor looking for a replacement for Owen Coyle and we have another new leader according to the bookmakers at the head of the betting markets and this time it’s Paul Jewell. There is little doubt that Paul has a tremendous CV as what he achieved at Wigan taking them up two leagues to secure a place in the Premier League is top class and no wonder the latest market move is for him.

There was much speculation earlier in the week that Paul Lambert was a contender for the position as there was for Mike Phelan who is on of the coaching staff at Man Utd. Both of these contenders have now drifted out again in the market as has another early favourite in Steve Coppell.

Alan Curbishley is another who has also come in for good support in the last 24 hours and he certainly is one who would be a good recruit for the job. It seems that he is now keen to get back into management as the former West Ham manager was we understand a serious candidate for the Bolton position.

Current caretaker manager Steve Davis could just find himself in the right position at the right time, but he needs the weather to relent and get a few wins under his belt as this could give his chances a real boost. An interesting way of looking at getting involved in having a punt on him would be to take a price before they next play in the hope that they win as his odds would surely drop should Burnley go on a bit of a winning run.
