Martin O’Neill who has bailed out of his Aston Villa job and is just waiting for the nod for the biggest job in English football the National Managers position. Ever since England’s very poor performance in South Africa Fabio Capello has been under huge pressure to hold onto his position and probably the only reason he remains is charge is the massive payout he would be entitled to should be he be sacked.

Paddy Power the online bookmaker believes that the England Post will be Martin O’Neill’s next job and who would disagree with this. He is the man ready and waiting for the pressure to reach boiling point for Fabio and the English FA may have no options should the National side get a poor start to their Euro 2012 qualifiers in the next few weeks. Neither Bulgaria nor Switzerland are pushovers and anything but full points in these games may just give the media enough ammunition to make Capello’s stay simply untenable.

Martin O’Neill was one of the main figures in line for the England job before Capello was appointed to his current position. Many have now realised that the National Manager needs to be able to speak the mother tongue of his players in order to be able to empathise with them to get the best from them.
