Claude Puel is the manager of Leicester City, with whom he joined in October 2017 after signing a three-year deal.
Puel previously managed Southampton, replacing Ronald Koeman in June 2016 after penning a three-year deal. The Frenchman arrived on the south coast on England following spells at Nice, Lyon, Lille, and Monaco.
During a 17 year managerial career Puel has hoisted the French title with Monaco, led Lyon to the Champions League semi-finals, and steered Nice to their highest finish since 1976 (4th).
Puel has a reputation fo developing and promoting young players, and employing high-pressing and attacking football, while his European experience will be crucial as the Saints prepare for their Europa League campaign.
