Darren Sarll was the manager of League Two outfit Stevenage until his sacking on 18th March 2018 - a position he has held since February 2016.
A youth team coach at Stevenage and Brentford, Sarll was then handed the Head of Youth Development role at Rotherham United, before he was promoted to first-team coach at Stevenage under Teddy Sheringham.
When Sheringham was sacked by Stevenage, Sarll took over the caretaker-manager role, before bagging the job on a permanent basis after saving the club from relegation. Then last season Stevenage finished 10th, missing out on the play-offs by just three points.

The Sack Race's Opinion
Darren Sarll has worked his way up the coaching ladder, and having gained his first first post at Stevenage, he will hope that this can give him more experience as he aims to forge a career as a manager.
