Since hanging up his playing boots Nathan Jones has worked in a number of coaching jobs, but the former defender gained his first managerial position in early 2016 when Luton Town handed him the reins.
Jones amassed over 500 appearances as a player in over two decades, but Jones is now aiming to make his name in the managerial sphere and having been handed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Hatters, the Welshman will be aiming to cement their Football League status.
I want to be the best manager in the world, and until I get there I won't stop trying. I may never get there, I might not get anywhere near. But until I exhaust every resource then that's what I want to do. It's ambitious, but you have to have ambition.
It's just getting the opportunity - it wasn't the first opportunity, but I feel it's the right one.
