Last Manager Role
Nigel Pearson is currently out-of-work after losing his job at Derby County in October 2016. Pearson parted ways with the Rams following the outcome of an internal investigation after he was suspended prior to the club's match with Cardiff.
During his managerial career Pearson has also taken charge of Leicester, Hull, Southampton, and Carlisle United, while he's held caretaker spells with Newcastle, England U21s and West Brom.
In terms of his achievements Pearson memorably led Leicester from League One up to the Premier League (during two spells at the helm), then preserved the club's top-flight status following a miraculous late surge at the end of the 2014/15 season.
