Pat Fenlon is the manager of Hibernian of the Scottish Premier League. He has a vast amount of experience and success from his time managing in Ireland but he is now looking to make his mark in Scotland. He will be looking for his players to make a vast improvement from last season but again the central focus will be avoiding relegation.
Fenlon has been in the management game since 2002 when he became player/manager of League of Ireland side Shelbourne. He impressively lead them to back-to-back league titlesin 2003 and 2004 as well as becoming the first manager to reach the third qualifying round of the competition with an Irish club. Fenlon again guided Shelbourne to the Championship in 2006, before leaving to Derry City where he spent just five months.
In December 2007 Fenlon became manager of the Bohemians and guided them to the League and FAI Cup double in 2008 and the League and League of Ireland Cup double in 2009, and then the Setanta Cup in 2010.
He became manager of Hibernian in November 2011.
Fenlon did his job and kept Hibs in the SPL last season but now the owners will be looking for him to push on and get them back in the top half of the table. A poor start could put Fenlon's position in trouble.
