Pep Guardiola is widely regarded as one of the best managers working in the game today. The Spaniard is best known for his time in charge at Barcelona, while he is now working in England for the first time with Man City, after leaving his position at Bayern Munich in the summer of 2016.
After a year at the helm of Barcelona B Guardiola made the step up to the senior team in the summer of 2008, and proceeded to mould together one of the greatest club teams of all time, leading the Catalan club to a plethora of trophies up until his departure in 2012.
Guardiola has since won a hat-trick Bundesliga titles, while he has also hoisted two DFB-Pokals, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Guardiola's drive, passion, and will to win is now legendary, while he is well known for his aggressive, free-flowing, passing style of football, which transformed Barcelona into a real juggernaut.
I sit down and watch videos. I take notes. That's when that inspiration comes - the moment that makes sense of my profession. The instant I know, for sure, that I've got it. I know how to win. It's the moment that my job becomes truly meaningful.
I hate tiki-taka. I always will. I want nothing more to do with tiki-taka. Tiki-taka is a load of shit, a made-up term. It means passing the ball for the sake of passing, with no real aim or aggression - nothing. I will not allow my brilliant players to fall for all that rubbish.
I know Mourinho only too well and he's trying to provoke me into a reaction. I'm not going to react, I'm not going to answer back. Only when I think the time is right.
