Pep Guardiola is the hugely popular manager of Barcelona, with whom he has managed since 2008. Pep has moulded together one of the greatest teams of all time and in just four years at the club has won a number of trophies and individual awards.
On Friday 27th April Guardiola revealed that he will not be renewing his contract with the Catalan club and will leave them at the end of the season. Reports are currently linking him with the Chelsea and England jobs.
Recent reports have revealed that he is set to step down at the end of the season and take a year out of the game. This has led many to speculate that he could in fact be being lined up for the job.
Not only was Pep a very successful player but in his short time in management he has proven to be an instant success. As a player he won six La Liga titles and he has already won the Spanish League three times since his appointment as manager in 2008. He has also won the Champions League twice, the Spanish Super Cup three times, the Copa del Rey, a UEFA Super Cup and also the FIFA Club World Club. Quite an astounding achievement for a young manager.
