An experienced lower league manager with a strong reputation, Phil Parkinson will now be looking to transform the fortunes of Bolton, with whom he joined in the summer of 2016.

During his five year spell in charge of Bradford Parkinson led the club to the 2013 League Cup Final - as a League Two side - then promotion up to League One in the same season.

Parkinson has also had Managerial spells at Reading, Charlton and Hull but it is at Bradford where he has made his name.
