Rafa Benitez is one of the most experienced gaffers in the game today. The Spaniard is best known in England for his time at Liverpool, while he’s also managed fellow Premier League sides Chelsea, and now Newcastle.

Benitez has also taken charge of some of the biggest teams in Europe, including Real Madrid, Valencia, Inter Milan, and Napoli.

It was Valencia where Benitez shot to prominence after leading the club to brace of La Liga titles - ending their 31 year wait for a league title - along with UEFA Cup glory. He then ventured off to the Premier League with Liverpool, winning the Champions League, FA Cup, the Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup.

Benitez has since won silverware with Inter, Chelsea, and Napoli, while he is currently attempting to lead Newcastle back up to the Premier League following their relegation to the Championship.

Rafael Benitez Quotes

Every single press conference is even worse than the last one. Some people cannot see a priest on a mountain of sugar.

After the game, Sheila, who was sitting right in line, said to me that the ball had crossed the line. She is a very honest person and that was good enough for me. It was a goal.

But I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they seem to want to start. But I have seen some facts...
