Manager Profile

Stephen Robinson is the manager of League One outfit Oldham Athletic. The Northern Ireland assistant took charge of the Latics in July 2016, replacing John Sheridan who had departed for Notts County.

Robinson played a key role in the Northern Ireland coaching team which saw the country progress through to Euro 2016, and then qualify through to the knockout-stages, where they lost narrowly to Wales.

Stephen Robinson Quotes

When I came down, I felt like this (Oldham) was the right club. I really like what the owner said to me.

I'm more than ready for this job. It's a club that has massive tradition and I want to get an identity back to the club.

The Sack Race's Opinion

The Oldham job is Robinson's first in the managerial arena. Robinson gained valuable experience as an assistant to Michael O'Neill at Northern Ireland, and will now be bidding to use what he has learnt with the Latics.
