Unai Emery's future at PSG in doubt with Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte in the mix to replace him

Unai Emery’s future at PSG has been hurled into severe doubt, with Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte in the frame to replace the Spaniard.
It’s no secret that PSG are simply desperate to stand alone at the summit of European football, however their hopes of lifting the coveted Champions League trophy were shattered by holders Real Madrid on Tuesday night, meaning their elusive search goes on.
Boss Emery has now come unstuck at the last-16 stage in consecutive campaigns with PSG, while the former Sevilla boss is yet to reach the quarter-finals of the competition in five attempts as a manager.
The 46-year-old is now expected to see out the season as PSG bid to win the domestic treble, including his first Ligue 1 title. But the club’s latest Champions League disappointment means a summer managerial switch is highly likely.
If this proves to be the case then PSG chairman Nasser al Khelaifi simply has to get the next appointment spot on as the club seeks to make their dreams of Champions League glory a reality.
Emery’s most recent European conqueror, Zidane, is one manager who PSG would no doubt be desperate to lure over to Paris, should he become available.
London could witness another end of season exit in Antonio Conte, whose future at Chelsea has been shredded in doubt for some time. The Italian has been linked with both Inter Milan and the Italian national team (for a second spell), but a move from Stamford Bridge to Parc des Princes catches the eye at a juicy 14/1.
Jose Mourinho has also been linked with the post, but in truth it’s extremely difficult to envision the Man Utd boss leaving Old Trafford anytime season, although should the Red Devils completely implode then a summer switch is not completely out of the question.
Other names worth checking out include Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone and former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, while ex PSG gaffer Carlo Ancelotti could be an option to take charge of the club for a second time.
