Jose Mourinho to return to England

Jose Mourinho has announced that he is definitely returning to England, but the question is, who will he manage?

Since his abrupt departure from Chelsea in 2007 the current Real Madrid manager has often spoken of his love of the English game and the passion generated by its supporters. After winning an unprecendented treble with Inter Milan last season, Mourinho is now on a quest to bring the Champions League trophy back to Madrid after years of dissapointment.

Mourinho is still contracted for another three years with the Spanish Giants but has expressed his desire to return to England in the near future. While a plethora of Premier League clubs will be eagerly eyeing up his services, the reality is only a small number have a chance of luring him in.

The bookies have installed Chelsea as the favourites, with Victor Chandler offering odds of 6/4 for the 48-year-old to return to his former club . If Sir Alex Ferguson was to win the treble this season there is a possibility he could pull the curtains down on his hugely successful career at Manchester United, with Mourinho placed at 7/4 to opt for the Red Devils.

Elsewhere Manchester City would be a lucrative option for Mourinho, with Tottenham also in the running if Harry Redknapp was to be tempted by the England job.
