Free-scoring Peterborough United firing on all cylinders under Graham Westley

by Andy Dillon / 30 November 2015, 13:15

Mike Holden (@Ratings_Mike) looks at how free-scoring Peterborough are loving life under boss Graham Westley.

Graham Westley promised Peterborough United fans 25 shots per game when he was appointed in September. After 12 matches in charge, he's coming up short on that figure but Posh fans won't be complaining - if they continue to score goals at the current rate of 2.83 per game, they will finish the season on 120 goals scored!

Graham Wesley Stats

Under Westley's guidance, Posh have reached their 25-shot target only twice but their average has risen from 13 efforts per match to 18. That extra focus on end-product is clearly having a positive effect on results with eight wins in those last 12 outings putting them on course for 87 points come the end of the season!
