Slaven Bilic tops the Sack Race following Francesco Guidolin's exit

Following Swansea City's sacking of Francesco Guidolin it's bad news for West Ham gaffer Slaven Bilic who has been installed as the new 2/1 favourite (Sky Bet) in the Premier League Sack Race.

In a case of poor timing Guidolin was sacked today (Monday) on his 61st birthday, with the Welsh club wasting no time in naming a new boss in Bob Bradley.

But now it's Bilic who finds himself as the man leading the way in the Sack Race, followed by Mark Hughes, David Moyes and Tony Pulis.

Bilic has come under-fire following a rotten run of form which has seen West Ham pick up just one point from their last five league games, while the club only has one win to their name this season.

On Saturday the Hammers put an end to a disastrous four game losing streak, but that 1-1 draw at home to a Middlesbrough side on a three-game losing run, certainly wasn't the result the fans were hoping for.

Bilic now has the international break to try and figure out just what on earth is going wrong at West Ham. However, should the Iron fail to impress on their return to action away to London rivals Crystal Palace, then the Croatian's future would subsequently be hurled into severe doubt.
