AC Milan have reportedly set their sights on former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola. The Italian giants are currently managed by Massimiliano Allegri but they are believed to be keen to capture Guardiola’s sought after signature before the start of the 2013/14 campaign.
Guardiola enjoyed a stunning four years at the Nou Camp, leading the Catalans to three La Liga titles, two Champions League trophies and a handful of domestic cups. However, during the summer he surprisingly announced that he would be taking a year's sabbatical, which instantly alerted a number of Europe's top clubs.
Guardiola has frequently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with many people believing that he is the perfect man to eventually succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. However, it is Chelsea who currently lead the way in Stan James’ Pep Guardiola's Next Club market, with odds of just 4/6. Elsewhere former club Barcelona are priced at 5/1, with Man Utd available at 6/1. Meanwhile AC Milan are surprisingly still an outside bet at 14/1.
