Sunderland manager Steve Bruce became the first casualty of the 2011/12 Premier League season after he was sacked on Wednesday 30th November following Sunderland’s poor run of form. On 8th January Neil Warnock was sacked by QPR.

How Many Premier League Managers Will Leave Their Post This Season? (2 Already)
There there were a number of notable casualties and surprise departures after the curtains came down on the 2010/11 season. Carlo Ancelotti was ruthlessly desposed off straight after Chelsea’s last game due to his ‘failure’ to bring any silverware back to the Bridge. Mark Hughes and Alex McLeish were the shock departures as they left their respective club’s Fulham and Birmingham City during the summer. Furthermore Gerard Houllier left Aston Vill by mutual consent because of ill-health.
We shall be profiling all the Managers in the Premier League from those fighting for the title and European places to those down the bottom embroiled in a relegation battle. We will be keeping a close eye on Old Trafford over the coming seasons as Sir Alex Ferguson fights to win more trophies before deciding the best time for him to retire. We will also be looking at all the managers trying to fight it out with Sir Alex for honours domestically and in Europe. Those Managers include Roberto Mancini, Arsene Wenger, Kenny Dalglish and Harry Redknapp who will all harbour hopes of winning the Premier League this season.
