Mick McCarthy is the latest manager to be strongly linked with Nottingham Forest as he emerges as the odds-on favourite for the vacancy. The former Wolves boss is racing home from holiday in order to meet face-to-face with the club’s new owners, the Al-Hasawi family, who are eager to appoint a manager as soon as possible. Previous favourites’ Darren Ferguson and Glenn Hoddle have seen their odds lengthened in the Next Nottingham Forest Manager market, and it now appears that the job is McCarthy’s to lose.
