Mark McGhee has today been appointed as the new manager of League Two side Bristol Rovers. The Scot, who incredibly becomes the sixth person to take charge of the club in just over a year, succeeds Paul Buckle who was sacked at the start of the month following a disappointing run of results. McGhee has signed a two-and-a-half year deal and his first match in charge will be away to high-flying Cheltenham on Saturday.
