Stadium Gigg Lane
Time at Club:
Bury are currently managed by Chris Brass and Ryan Kidd until the end of the season. The duo took charge of the Shakers in November 2016 following the departure of Flitcroft following a rotten 11 game winless run.
Bury were formed in 1885 and have spent much of the years since in the bottom two divisions of the football League. The Shakers became the first ever team to score a 1000 goals in each of the four divisions back in May 2005 which highlights their struggle up and down the leagues. Bury have been unable to prove keep themselves in the top two divisions and at the moment League Two football is probably the best they can hope for.
Unfortunately for the club, Bury are perhaps best known in recent years for becoming the first team ever to be thrown out of the FA Cup. The Shakers fielded an ineligible player in the competition in 2006 and were were hurled out of the tournament by the FA which had a big affect on the fortunes of the club.
Bury have a solitary win against Peterborough United and 3 draws against Port Vale, Bradford City and Fleetwood Town over the last 10 games to thank for earning a mediocre 6 points. Bury have surrendered 21 goals in the process while scoring 17 to give them a poor 17 goal difference.
