Profile
Dagenham & Redbridge are managed by John Still who took charge of the club on 31st December 2015 for a third time. Under Wayne Burnett the Daggers endured an awful opening half of the season, winning just two of their 22 League Two matches, leaving them rock-bottom of the Football League.
History
Formed in 1992, the club were created by the merger of Redbridge Forest and Dagenham and in the early years played their football in the non league arena. Relegated from the Conference in the 1995-1996 season, the Daggers cemented their place in the Isthmian Premier League before eventually gaining promotion back to the Conference in the 1999-2000.
A few years in the highest non-league division, they eventually made it into the football league when they won the 2006-2007 Conference title gaining promotion as champions. Their meteoric rise didn't stop there as three years later they managed to make it into League One gaining promotion through the play-offs.
Relegated the following season, it is now current manager Wayne Burnett's job to bring some solidity to the side and at least making sure they secure their league status, before possibly embarking on another promotion-winning season, but it will be a tough objective for the inexperienced boss.
