Dundee are managed by Paul Hartley, who was appointereplaced former boss John Brown in February 2014. Hartley then led the club to the Scottish Championship title, which was won on the final day of the campaign. The Dees will now be looking to avoid the drop in their first season back in the top-flight.
In the last few years Dundee have yo-yoed between the SPL and Scottish Championship. In 2012 they finally won promotion to the top-flight after seven years stuck in the second-tier, however they were immediately relegated the following campaign. The Dees bounced back once again last season after Paul Hartley led the club to the Championship title.
A mixed set of recent results has seen Dundee collect wins versus Rangers, St Johnstone and Hearts while suffering adverse results at Aberdeen, St Mirren, Partick Thistle, Celtic and Kilmarnock. Draws against Kilmarnock and Ross County has seen them show mid-table form at best.
