Profile

Hull City appointed Uwe Rosler as their new manager in July 2016. The German, who had previously managed Leeds, Brentford and Wigan, signed a two-year deal to replace Stephen Pressley, and went on to enjoy an impressive debut season, leading his troops to a top-6 finish, but they lost out in the play-offs.

Fleetwood have been on an impressive journey since they re-formed in 1997. The club began life back in Division One of the North West Counties Football League, and as recent as 2005 they were in the ninth tier of English Football. However, after six promotions in 10 years they can now finally count themselves as a League One club.

A single draw against Leicester City in an otherwise black and white set of results has seen Fleetwood Town struggle for consistent results. Wins against Southend United, Bury, Bury and Oldham Athletic and defeats to Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, Bradford City, Gillingham and Peterborough United demonstate slightly erratic form.
