Profile

Hull City appointed Uwe Rosler as their new manager in July 2016. The German, who had previously managed Leeds, Brentford and Wigan, signed a two-year deal to replace Stephen Pressley, and went on to enjoy an impressive debut season, leading his troops to a top-6 finish, but they lost out in the play-offs.

Fleetwood have been on an impressive journey since they re-formed in 1997. The club began life back in Division One of the North West Counties Football League, and as recent as 2005 they were in the ninth tier of English Football. However, after six promotions in 10 years they can now finally count themselves as a League One club.

Numerous drawns but few defeats has seen Fleetwood Town enjoy a strong run of results. Defeats against Milton Keynes Dons and Shrewsbury Town are the only black marks on a run that has seen them amass wins against Carlisle United, Chorley, Oxford United and Plymouth Argyle while sharing the spoils versus Doncaster Rovers, Blackburn Rovers, Scunthorpe United and Rochdale
