Time at Club:
Mansfield Town appointed Adam Murray as their player-manager in December 2014, with the then 33-year-old subsequently becoming the youngest boss in the top-4 tiers of English football. Despite a rocky end to the season Murray went on to steer the club to safety, while they vastly improved last term (12th).
Mansfield were taken over in 2010 by Doncaster-based businessman John Radford. The club went on to reach the 2011 FA Trophy Final, before securing the Blue Square Bet Premier League title in April 2013, following a 1-0 win over Wrexham at Field Mill. The Stags have previously won Division Four (1974/75) and Division Three (1976/77) titles, along with the Football League Trophy in 1986/87.
During the hugely successful 2012/13 campaign Mansield achieved a record-equalling 12 wins in a row, while they pushed Liverpool all the way in the third round of the FA Cup.
Numerous drawns but few defeats has seen Mansfield Town enjoy a strong run of results. Defeats against Grimsby Town and Barnet are the only black marks on a run that has seen them amass wins against Notts County and Port Vale while sharing the spoils versus Luton Town, Wycombe Wanderers, Crewe Alexandra, Accrington Stanley, Hartlepool United and Cambridge United
