An experienced German coach, David Wagner is now out of work after leaving Huddersfield Town.

Wagner went on to save the Terriers from relegation down to the League One, before leading his troops to an incredible promotion up to the Premier League, which was followed by 16th spot.

Wagner was previously in charge of the Borussia Dortmund reserve team between 2011 and 2015, before venturing into the managerial arena for the first time with Championship outfit Huddersfield.

During his playing career Wagner was an international for the United Sates but spent his entire club days in Germany with spells at Mainz and Schalke among others.

David Wagner Quotes

Everybody knows the full throttle football we try to create. This is what I like to do. But you have to work to do this.

I've known Jurgen (Klopp) longer than i've known my wife.

I was never a dreamer and I was always a worker which is why I am here at this club (Huddersfield), this is a working club. We start again tomorrow.
