David Wagner is out of work after leaving his post at Schalke.
Wagner previously saved Huddersfield from relegation down to the League One, before leading his troops to an incredible promotion up to the Premier League, which was followed by 16th spot. However, he left mid-way through the 2018/19 season via mutual consent.
Prior to that Wagner was in charge of the Borussia Dortmund reserve team between 2011 and 2015, before venturing into the managerial arena for the first time with Championship outfit Huddersfield.
During his playing career Wagner was an international for the United Sates but spent his entire club days in Germany with spells at Mainz and Schalke among others.
