Manager Profile

Time at Club:

Harry Kewell is the manager of League Two Notts County, leaving Crawley Town to replace Kevin Nolan at Meadow Lane in September 2018.

Kewell is well known in England following spells at Liverpool and Leeds during his playing days, while he was most recently working as Watford's under-23 team coach.

The Crawley job was Kewell's first in management, and he'll be hoping to roar out of the blocks at County after signing a deal to replace Nolan in the dugout.

Harry Kewell Quotes

My passion for coaching is immense. I've fallen in love with it. I enjoy the structure. I love the hard work, organising. I love putting a plan together through the week and executing it at the weekend. To be able to get a young player to perform a drill or execute a phase of play -- that's satisfying. I get happy and think he's learned, and that's what I enjoy. I actually prefer coaching to playing.

I'll live and die by what I do. If it's not good enough, it's not good enough but I've spoken to managers and they say to be your own man. You need an identity and be comfortable with it.
