Profile

Harry Kewell is the manager of League Two Crawley Town following a surprise appointment in May 2017.

Kewell is well known in England following spells at Liverpool and Leeds during his playing days, while he was most recently working as Watford's under-23 team coach.

The Crawley job is Kewell's first in management, and he'll be hoping to roar out of the blocks after signing a deal to replace Dermot Drummy in the dugout.

Harry Kewell Quotes

My passion for coaching is immense. I've fallen in love with it. I enjoy the structure. I love the hard work, organising. I love putting a plan together through the week and executing it at the weekend. To be able to get a young player to perform a drill or execute a phase of play -- that's satisfying. I get happy and think he's learned, and that's what I enjoy. I actually prefer coaching to playing.

I'll live and die by what I do. If it's not good enough, it's not good enough but I've spoken to managers and they say to be your own man. You need an identity and be comfortable with it.
