Manager Profile

Time at Club:

Paul Tisdale is often cited as one of the most stylish managers in football thanks to his dapper hats and cravats, but he's also shown that he has substance, having spent 12 years at Exeter, before leaving for MK Dons in the summer of 2018.

Tisdale was the longest serving manager in the Football League, accumulating over 600 games at the helm of Exeter, where he won successive promotions to League One, albeit a subsequent relegation was a slight blemish on his CV.

Paul Tisdale Quotes

I'm an oddity. With what I wear, how I speak, with the choices I've made. I'm an oddity in how I view my players. I really don't mind the perception. It actually gives me an edge.

They might be four inches taller than you, but you'll stand alongside them and know the manager's got his cravat on.

I'll go out early and be stood in that technical area, with my silk scarf, feeling the b******s. When you walk out, you'll look at me, and know if I feel it, then you'll feel the nuts too.
