Profile

An experienced lower league manager with a strong reputation, Phil Parkinson made an instant impact at Bolton, with whom he led up to the Championship at the first time of asking.

During his five year spell in charge of former club Bradford Parkinson led them to the 2013 League Cup Final - as a League Two side - then promotion up to League One in the same season.

Parkinson has also had Managerial spells at Reading, Charlton and Hull but it is at Bradford where he has made his name.

Phil Parkinson Quotes

I'm very proud of my record here so far but i've been very lucky to receive the backing from the chairman and the board.

Sometimes youngsters come in and don't hit the ground running. But the ones they've taken have been brilliant for them and given that extra bit of quality to the team.
