Dick Advocaat installed as the new favourite for the sack following a shocking opening day

2015/16 Premier League season is only a game old, but already there has been some spicy action at the summit of the Sack Race.
Liverpool gaffer Brendan Rodgers entered into the opening weekend as the early favourite for the chop, however Sunderland's 4-2 reverse at Leicester City has resulted in bookmakers installing Dick Advocaat as the new frontrunner (3/1 Sky Bet).
Back in June Advocaat performed a dramatic u-turn, signing a new one-year contract at the Stadium of Light, a decision he may now be having reservations about following the club's shocking opening day display.
In stark contrast Leicester's Claudio Ranieri was ecstatic following a fantastic opening day for the Foxes boss, who has drifted slightly out to 12/1 in the betting. Elsewhere, Quique Flores, whose side opened up with a entertaining 2-2 draw at Everton, remains hovering around the 6/1 mark, wheres Rodgers can be backed at 10/1 to suffer the sack.
