Notts County Appoint Jamie Fullartonby Jack Kitson / 11 January 2016, 10:18Tweet
Notts County have finally found their man in Jamie Fullarton, who has been named as Ricardo Moniz's replacement at Meadow Lane. It's the 41-year-old's first venture into the managerial arena, although he's previously held various coaching roles at Bolton, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Bristol Rovers.
Notts County sacked Moniz back at the end of December with the club 15th in League Two. The Magpies have since dropped down to 18th, although they are closer to the top-7 (nine points), than the relegation zone (13 points).
Fullarton, who beat off competition from the likes of john Sheridan and Mark Cooper, will be tasked with leading his new troops up the table, and if results go their way then a push for the play-offs could be on the cards. Fullarton's first match in charge comes on Saturday away to Crawley, who sit four points above Notts in 13th.
