Chris Coleman expected to sign new Wales deal

After weeks of uncertainty Chris Coleman is now expected to sign a new contract with Wales. The Dragons boss, whose current deal expires after Saturday's international friendly at home Finland, was widely rumoured to return to club management with former team Crystal Palace, however he now looks set to perform a dramatic u-turn and sign an extension with the Welsh team.
Coleman took charge of his country back in January 2012 but was unable to lead them through qualifying to next summer's World Cup Finals, which in trun led to speculation that he was preparing to step down. The 43-year-old emerged as the hot favourite to replace Ian Holloway at Palace but has since drifted in the betting from the odds-on frontrunner to a 5/1 shot.
Wales may have endured a disappointing qualification campaign but there is no doubting that they have much to look forward to with the likes of Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Ashley Williams in their ranks. They will be determined to bounce back and really set the European scene alight by progressing through to Euro 2016.
