Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo could be set to replace the under-fire Martin Jol at struggling Fulham. The Italian, who leads the Next Fulham Manager Betting, is reportedly eager to make a return to the dugout following a year in the wilderness, and there could soon be a vacancy opening up at Craven Cottage after the West London outfit suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions on Saturday.
Jol's future has been the subject of widespread debate over the last couple of weeks, with last weekend’s 4-0 thrashing at Liverpool only intensifying rumours that the Dutchman will become the third victim of this season’s Premier League Sack Race. The Cottagers have now lost seven of their opening 11 league games, leaving them down in the relegation zone and without a win since September.
Fulham’s owner Shahid Khan, who took over during the summer, may now decide that the international break is the perfect time to make a change, with Di Matteo currently a best-priced 3/1 with Bet Victor to take charge. Other contenders include Tony Pulis, Malky Mackay and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
