Pat Fenlon under pressure at struggling Hibernian

Pat Fenlon is feeling the heat following Hibernian's shocking start to the new season. Hibs have lost all four of their opening SPL and European matches, without scoring a single goal. Sunday's bitter defeat to fierce Edinburgh rivals Hearts has left Fenlon’s position in doubt, although he remains defiant that he can turn things around at Tynecastle.
In July Hibs suffered a crushing 9-0 aggregate defeat to Malma in the Europa League, which included a torrid 7-0 loss at home. Their confidence was obviously affected as they began the new 2013/14 season with a defeat at home to Motherwell, before losing to administration-hit Hearts in the Edinburgh Derby.
Fenlon was the ante-post 4/1 favourite in the SPL Sack Race, but his odds have since been slashed to just 4/9 with Paddy Power. The 44-year-old insists that he won't quit but if Hibs’ woeful start continues the club will be forced to make a decision.
Next up is a match at home to Dundee United on Saturday, a match Fenlon simply has to win. The hosts have been installed as the 7/4 favourites with Bet365 to pick up their first win of the campaign, while United can be backed at 31/20, whereas a draw could be the way to go at 11/5.
