Charlton chop interim head coach Karel Fraeye, replacing him with Nebojsa Vignjevic

According to reports Chartlon Athletic have axed interim head coach Karel Fraeye following a rotten run of form. The Addicks were battered 5-0 by Huddersfield on Tuesday night, a result which left the Championship strugglers three points adrift of safety in 23rd.
In the aftermath of the devastating defeat an infuriated Fraeye pied the media, which only fuelled rumours that he was on the verge of the sack...fast forward 24 hours and the beleaguered Belgian has been booted out of The Valley exit door.
Fraeye was only placed in charge in October following the departure of Guy Puzon, however a shocking run of eight defeats in 14 matches has forced the club to act.
Rumours are rife that Charlton are set to appoint the little known Serbian Nebojsa Vignjevic as his replacement in the dugout. The 47-year-old is currently in charge of Hungarian side Ujpest - 2nd in the league - but would understandably jump at the chance of managing in the Championship with the south London club.
