David Moyes Bookmakers Favourite To Replace Harry Redknapp At Tottenham

The latest Next Tottenham Manager Odds reveals that Everton boss David Moyes is the favourite to replace Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane after it emerged that the 65-year-old’s future at the North London club is reportedly in serious doubt. On Tuesday rumours were rife that Redknapp had sensationally quit, however, the former Bournemouth and West Ham manager reacted quickly by stating that he has no intention of resigning. Redknapp has just one year left on his current contract and is today set to hold talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to discuss his future.
Levy is understood to be fuming at the manner in which Spurs lost the fight for third spot last season. Despite finishing fourth Spurs will not be competing in next season’s Champions League because London rivals Chelsea ended up taking the final spot after winning the competition. A torrid run of just four wins from their last 13 league games cost Spurs third-place and ultimately a prized Champions League spot, which had seemed certain back in February.
Levy is also thought to believe that Redknapp was heavily distracted by the constant speculation linking him with the England job. Following the surprise resignation of Fabio Capello Redknapp was the overwhelming bookmakers favourite to become the new England manager but in a shock move the Football Association opted for Roy Hodgson. Redknapp has recently revealed that he would have taken the job would he have been offered it, which only adds to the reported tension between himself and Levy.
If Redknapp was to leave the club then Everton boss David Moyes is the early favourite to replace him. Meanwhile other managers in the mix include Wigan manager Roberto Martinez, former Spurs legend Jurgen Klinsman and ex-Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas.
