Sack race favourite Tim Sherwood walking the tightrope at abject Aston Villa

Premier League Sack Race favourite Tim Sherwood (7/4 Sky Bet) is on the verge of losing his job at Aston Villa, according to reports. The under-fire gaffer is running out of time at Villa Park after scraping just one point from his last seven games at the helm, leaving his future in severe doubt.
- Aston Villa have lost six and won none of their last seven league games.
- Villa are without a home league win since early May.
- The Midlands club have lost six of their last seven clashes with Chelsea.
If Villa's woeful losing streak is extended to five consecutive league matches on Saturday - against fellow strugglers Chelsea - then it would surprise few to see Sherwood become the third top-tier casualty of the campaign.
Should the former Spurs gaffer survive the chopping board this weekend, then he may want to cover his eyes, as his side's next four league games are against Swansea, Tottenham, Man City and Everton...yikes.
There is currently no market for the Next Aston Villa Manager, but rumours are rife that the Midlands club are interested in luring David Moyes back over to England.

The Real Sociedad boss has come under pressure in recent weeks following an underwhelming start to the campaign, which has seen the La Liga outfit pick up just one win from their opening seven games.
The Scot will be determined to make it work in Spain, but will no doubt be tempted by the Villa job, should the club come knocking at the door.
Another manager linked with the post is Job Centre newbie Brendan Rodgers, who is assessing his options following his recent dismissal. The Ulsterman is having a deserved break at the moment, but may decide to throw himself right back into the managerial arena, providing the right vacancy arises.

After over a year, just realised who Tim Sherwood reminds me of - he is Lee from The Office, from looks to personality.
