Slaven Bilic reportedly keen on a return to West Ham as managerby Jack Kitson / 14 May 2015, 11:18Tweet
Speculation surrounding the future of Sam Allardyce continues to ramble on, with the West Ham boss widely expected to depart Upton Park at the end of the summer. Numerous gaffers have been linked with the club in the last few months, including former Iron midfielder Slaven Bilic who is reportedly keen to the Boleyn Ground to the club as manager.
Bilic currently has a year left on his contract at Turkish outfit Besiktas, but he is believed to be very tempted to take the plunge and make his mark in the Premier League managerial arena. The 46-year-old was out at 10/1 (Sky Bet) in the Next West Ham Manager Market, but has since been slashed down to the 2/1 frontrunner, alongside Rafa Benitez, whereas David Moyes has drifted out to 8/1.
The Hammers are reportedly still eager to lure number one target Moyes over to East London, although the Scot is understood to be happy at La Liga side Real Sociedad, having only been at the helm since November. It's difficult to envision the former Everton boss leaving Spain, but a return to England simply can't be ruled out.
