Neil Redfearn remains unsure on future at Leeds Unitedby Jack Kitson / 15 May 2015, 09:16Tweet
Neil Redfearn is still being forced to wait while Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino makes a decision on his future at Elland Road. Redfearn is eager to continue as head coach of the Whites, however rumours are rife that Cellino will look elsewhere for a new boss this summer.
Back in October Redfearn became Leeds' third manager of the 2014/15 campaign, following the sacking of Darko Milanic, and went on to steer the Yorkshire outfit clear of danger to a 15th place finish. Since the end of the season the 49-year-old has been left in the dark over his future at the club, although if rumours are to be believed a new contract looks unlikely.
Gus Poyet has become the latest gaffer to be linked with the Leeds post. The former Sunderland boss is believed to be on Cellino's radar as he bids to forge away back into the managerial arena, having lost his job with the Black Cats back in March. Other names reportedly in contention include Nigel Adkins, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Martin Allen.
