Watford could appoint Walter Mazzarri by the end of the week

Watford hope to appoint Waltzer Mazzarri as their new manager within the next few days. The Hornets are wasting no time in finding a replacement for Quique Sanchez Florez as they bid to name their sixth boss in under two years.
Despite keeping Watford in the Premier League with their highest top-flight placing (13th) in 29 years, and leading the club through to their first FA Cup semi-final since 2007, the club controversially decided not to pursue with Flores.
Now, Watford are being hotly linked with the former Napoli and Inter Milan boss Mazzarri, who is currently the scorching hot 1/10 favourite in the betting (Sky Bet), oceans ahead of Manuel Pellegrini and Roberto Di Matteo.
During a managerial career, which started with Acireal back in 2001, Mazzarri has hoisted the 2012 Coppa Italia with Napoli, before finishing runners-up to Juventus in Serie A the next season. The Italian as also taken charge of the likes of Inter, Sampdoria, Reggina, Livorno, and Pistoiese, but has never managed outside of his homeland.
