Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew new favourite for the sack

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has been installed as the new favourite for the sack after Sky Bet clipped his odds from 5/1 to 11/4, placing the silver fox above former frontrunner Tony Pulis (4/1).

Last weekend Pardew's Palace lost their opening game of the season to Pulis' West Brom - suffering a hugely disappointing 1-0 defeat at Selhurst Park.
Next up for the Eagles is a tricky trip to London rivals Tottenham, who have only lost one of their last eight league home matches at White Hart Lane.
Meanwhile Palace, who haven't wont in the league at the Lane since 1997, haven't won away from home in the top-flight since 2015 - a dismal run of 10 games.
The summer appeared to come at just the right time for Pardew, whose side endured a woeful second-half of the season, winning just two of their last 21 matches.
However, the capital club have stuttered out of the blocks this term, and another defeat this weekend would make Pardew's position in the dugout pretty uncomfortable.
