Leicester City became the second Premier League club to change managers this season after giving Craig Shakespeare the boot on Tuesday afternoon.

Perhaps the writing was on the wall for the under-fire Shakespeare who had registered only one win from eight league games this term, with the club’s failure to beat West Brom on Monday night proving to be the final straw for the impatient owners.

As a result the Foxes are searching for their 16th permanent manager this century, and third in the last eight months, following February’s sacking of Claudio Ranieri who months earlier had led Leicester to Premier League glory.

Ranieri’s replacement, Shakespeare, originally took charge on an interim basis, but after a decent string of results he was awarded a permanent deal in the summer in the form of a three-year contract.

Fast-forward four months he's been ruthlessly axed.

But, given that this is a club that brutally sacked a title-winning gaffer who conjured up one of the most stunning stories in sports history, this latest wielding of the axe unfortunately comes as no surprise.

A multitude of managers have since been linked with the 2015/16 English champions, including Sam Allardyce, Chris Coleman, Sean Dyche, Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto Mancini, and the club’s caretaker boss Michael Appleton, while Thomas Tuchel is a 25/1 shot!

There are also a few former Foxes bosses who feature in the betting...

So, while Leicester search for yet another manager, why not put your knowledge to the test and try and name all 15 permanent gaffers that the club have employed since the year 2000.
