Fulham Sack Felix Magath

Fulham are on the hunt for their fourth manager in less than 10 months after sacking Felix Magath, who becomes the second Championship casualty of the day (after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer exited Cardiff). The German has been sent packing following a truly dismal start to the new season, which has seen the Cottagers lose six of their opening seven games. The London club have picked up just one point on their return to the Championship, which leaves them rock-bottom of the table, and already four points adrift of safety.
Magath became Fulham's third manager of a turbulent 2013/14 campaign when he replaced Rene Meulensteen in the dugout back in February. The former Bayern Munich boss failed to inspire a turnaround, with the club's 13-year stay in the Premier League coming to an end in May. The Cottagers kept the faith in Magathover the summer, however the 61-year-old has since endured a torrid time in the second-tier, with his misery now brought to an end. In total Magath won just four of his 20 matches in charge.
Fulham have placed the Under-21 boss Kit Symons in caretaker charge for their match at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Symons also features high up in the Next Fulham Manager Market, alongside the likes of Chris Hughton, Alan Pardew and Tim Sherwood, while Tony Pulis also features in the betting.
