O'Driscoll Current Favourite To Be Next Bristol City Manager

Following Gary Johnson's departure from Bristol City yesterday there has been been big betting interested surrounding his possible replacement at Ashton Gate. any number of Managers are being touted for the top job at Bristol City but the new favourite with Skybetis the Doncaster Manager Sean O'Driscoll who has been linked with several top jobs over the past year. The former Bournemouth Manager looked to be heading to Burnley a couple of months ago but the two clubs failed to reach a deal over compensation and it has been recognised that O'Driscoll has done a quite excellent job at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Doncaster were languishing in League One when Sean O'Driscoll took charge but through his brand of passing football he has turned the club into a solid Championship team, they are a team that have been making waves with some cracking results achieved despite a small squad. It is understood that O'Driscoll is at the top of the shortlist after he took Doncaster to Ashton gate earlier in the season and led the away team to a 5-2 victory. The style of play that Doncatser bought that day was so impressive that the board at Ashton Gate took note and now appear to have O'Driscoll at the top of their wanted list.

Burley knows the Championship well having had spells at Ipswich and Derby in the past and may see this is as a route back to the Premier League with an ambitious club such as Bristol City.
