Hull City Approach Gianfranco Zolaby Jack Kitson / 01 August 2016, 12:35Tweet
Gianfranco Zola has been installed as the new favourite for the Hull City job after the club approached him about becoming their boss.
Chris Coleman emerged as the frontrunner for the post over the weekend, but now midday on on Monday the Wales manager has been replaced at the summit by Zola, who is now odds-on with Sky Bet.
Zola, who was out at 22/1 on Saturday, has been out-of-work since leaving Qatar side Al-Arabi in June. Prior to that position the Italian managed in his homeland in Cagliari, while he previously took charge of the English duo of Watford and West Ham.
Now the former Chelsea star could be set for a return to the Premier League with new boys Hull who now have less than two weeks to go until they kick-off their campaign at home to defending champions Leicester.
