All Change In Betting For Next Bolton Managerby Steve Claridge / 01 January 2010, 10:32Tweet
We predicted yesterday in our report about Paul Jewell that this market is going to see changes daily with all the rumours hitting the news stands nearly every hour. The latest market movers are Peter Reid and Owen Coyle, with Darren Ferguson remaining steady in the betting markets.
Former star for the club Peter Reid has been subject of much speculation yesterday with his current boss Tony Pulis suggesting that he could well offer Megson a role at this club should Reid get the Bolton job. Another former Bolton player Owen Coyle is another who is receiving much interest from punters, but the current Burnley boss is having none of it at present.
Another interesting suggestion doing the rounds is the possibility of Alan Shearer and Gary Speed to join up to take on the Bolton role. All of this gossip has meant that early favourites Sparky Hughes and Paul Jewell have drifted out in the betting and we await to see the latest updates as the New Years FA Cup programme gets underway on Saturday.
