Four in the mix for Cardiff City job

According to a flurry of media reports there are four names in the mix to replace Malky Mackay at Cardiff City. The future of the Scot may still be undecided but behind closed doors it seems that the club are already making plans ahead of his inevitable departure.
We can only speculate on the identity of these candidates but if we are going by the Next Cardiff City Manager Market then it’s the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Yilmaz Vural, Robert Jarni who are in the running.
Molde manager Solskjaer, who is also the favourite for the West Brom vacancy, would seem a bizarre choice given his lack of experience, while neither Vural and Jarni have ever worked in the Premier League. Other names that feature in the betting include former boss Dave Jones, Roberto Di Matteo and Gianfranco Zola.
The current furore around the club undoubtedly makes their already daunting task at Anfield now seem like mission impossible. Cardiff lock horns with a rampant Liverpool side in Merseyside on Saturday afternoon, and are as long as 16/1 (Bet Victor) to come away with a shock victory, while a draw can be found at 6/1.
