Sven Goran Eriksson's odds slashed in the Next Hull City Manager Market

Should common sense prevail then Mike Phelan will be appointed as Hull City's next permanent manager.
The club's caretaker boss has worked wonders in leading the Tigers to back-to-back wins from their opening two games, which puts them on six points alongside Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea at the top of the table.
However, the betting in the Next Hull City Manager Market has thrown up some perplexing names in recent weeks - the latest being Sven Goran Eriksson (SVG), who slithers his way into contention at 8/1 (Sky Bet).
Why? How? When?
On Monday the former England manager entered into the frame at 33/1, odds which were swiftly cut to 12/1 come the evening, before slicing down further today (Tuesday) at 8/1, putting him behind Phelan, the hot odds-on frontrunner.
This has certainly raised some eyebrows.
In recent years SVG has been chilling in China. Firstly with Guangzhou, now Shanghai, with whom he has been in charge of for nearly two years.
But it's been eight long years since he was last spotted in the Premier League dugout with Man City.
But, surely Hull aren't contemplating bringing him back over to England as Steve Bruce's successor in the dugout...are they?
Betting markets are notoriously wayward at times, and this is likely to just be another false move, with SVG's odds likely to drift...well Hull fans will hope this is the case anyway.
Unbelievably this man is now an 8/1 shot to become the next manager of Hull City #hcafc #SvenGoranEriksson pic.twitter.com/DZEAgeOTo6
