Nottingham Forest Sack Sean O'Driscoll

Just hours after defeating Leeds United 4-2 at the City Ground in the Championship Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi has relieved manager Sean O'Driscoll of his job.
The reason for the sacking appears to be that the new owners want to take advantage of the upcoming January transfer window and feel that the man in charge of the Championship side should have Premier League experience.
O'Driscoll took over the managerial responsibilities at Forest on July 19th taking over from Steve Cotterill who was sacked on the . Under O'Driscoll Forest are currently sitting in eight place in the table with 36 points from 24 games and just a point away from the play offs. However he has not won more than two games in succession and this lack of consistency would have been taken under consideration by the owner.

- January 2012 - Joins the team as first team coach
