In demand Thomas Tuchel linked with PSG and Arsenalby Jack Kitson / 26 March 2018, 10:24Tweet
Thomas Tuchel is expected to return to management this summer, but the question is where?
The former Borussia Dortmund boss left the German club at the end of last season, just days after lifting the German Cup.
He’s since been linked with a multitude of clubs, including Everton and Southampton, but the rumour mill was sent into overdrive over the weekend after reports in the German football magazine Kicker claimed that Tuchel is set to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal in the summer.
Tuchel has subsequently been installed as the bookmakers favourite for the Arsenal job (1/1, Bet Victor), although the 44-year-old was also installed as the odds-on frontrunner for the PSG job, with the current incumbent Unai Emery expected to leave at the end of the season.
The German tactician has also reportedly turned down the chance to manage Dortmund's rivals Bayern Munich, while he’s a 12/1 shot to replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea (12/1).
Wenger’s 22-year reign at Arsenal is finally expected to come to an end in the summer, although if the Frenchman gets his way, he’ll no doubt still be in the Gunners dugout next season.
Meanwhile, Wenger told beIN Sports that it’s his age that has led to people questioning his future at the club...
"Overall the older you get the more it becomes a little bit age discrimination.
“I can accept that if the results are not good enough. We are in a job where we have to deal with the consequences but overall that perpetual thing of a link with how long you’ve been at the club, how old you are, I find that a bit difficult to take.”
